The origins of the company date to the 1930s when Czech-German automotive engineer Ferdinand Porsche founded Porsche In its early days, it was contracted by the German government to create a vehicle for the masses, which later became the Volkswagen Beetle. After World War II his son Ferry Porsche began building his own car, which would result in the Porsche 356.

In post-war Germany, parts were generally in short supply, so the 356 automobile used components from the Volkswagen Beetle, including the engine case from its internal combustion engine, transmission, and several parts used in the suspension. The 356, however, had several evolutionary stages, A, B, and C, while in production, and gradually most Volkswagen-sourced parts were replaced by Porsche-made parts. In 1964, after a fair amount of success in motor-racing with various models including the 550 Spyder, and with the 356 needing a major re-design, the company launched the Porsche 911: another air-cooled, rear-engined sports car, this time with a six-cylinder "boxer" engine.
The 911 was continuously improved starting with a 2.0 liter engine in the 911F model and ending with the 911 Carrera 3.2 engine in the G-model of the 1989 model.

EZ Electric Power Steering and Porsche:
Although there are heavier steering classic cars we sell a lot of power steering kits for these cars as they are driven regularly. Smaller steering wheels, wider stickier tires, more caster and in some cases a quicker rack make the steering heavier.
We are proud to mention that even rally specialists Such as Bernard Munster from Belgium use our power steering and we even sponsor a 911 from Nantes Prestige that takes part in the Paris Dakar Classic.
