EZ Electric Power Steering for your Ferrari Testarossa
EZ Electric Power Steering offers an electric power steering kit for the Ferrari Testarossa Series 1 and Series 2. This kit is designed to be installed completely invisible under the dashboard, leaving the original interior intact. The installation requires no modifications such as welding or cutting to the original steering column; instead, a new, custom steering column is included that fits directly into the Testarossa. This means that the original steering column can be retained for any subsequent restorations.

Veel mensen vragen zich af waarom een Ferrari 512BB stuurbekrachtiging nodig zou hebben. De motor zit toch niet voorin? Er zit dus geen gewicht boven de vooras. Juist daarom heeft Ferrari gekozen voor veel naloop op de vooras om de rechtuit-stabiliteit op hoge snelheden te verhogen. Dit betekent dat als het stuur naar links of rechts wordt gedraaid dat de auto iets wordt opgetild. Dit in een combinatie met een directe stuuroverbrenging, een klein stuur en brede banden zorgt ervoor dat deze Ferrari op lage snelheden zwaar stuurt. EZ Power Steering heeft daarom snelheidsafhankelijke elektrische stuurbekrachtiging ontwikkeld voor de 512BB.
