The Pinzgauer is named after an Austrian breed of cattle. The performance of this vehicle in rough terrain is astounding. The Saab 99 was produced from 1968 to 1984. Production took place in Sweden and Finland. The later Turbo version was one of the fastest accelerating 4-door cars of its time. The car was available with hydraulic power steering as an option but this was not often chosen for the earlier versions.
